Simple days

Today was a pretty typical simple day at the course. Zack was suppose to tee off around 12:15 but was delayed 2 hours earlier in the morning due to fog. Hadley and I spent the majority of the day at the course either in the dining area or playing outside. The weather is so perfect here for outdoor activities! I was able to meet chat with a few other moms today which was nice! The clubhouse this week is very spacious and beautiful. We spent the last 9 holes in the ladies locker room which overlooks the putting green. I caught up with a sweet fiend I haven't seen in years and was do happy to see!! Joanne watched Hadley so Lisa and I could do our weekly bible study. Love love being able to take a step back and focus on what's most important! We ended the evening celebrating Harold's birthday at a local restaurant near the course. Looking forward to tomorrow watching Zack play and then a date night!!!

First day in San Francisco

Hey guys! I hope you are having a fabulous day! We started our day by snoozing in bed until 9:00, which was fantastic. Zack had his usual pro-am so we dropped him at the course and then headed to a near by playground. Today was our first day in San Francisco and I absolutely love it! Joanne is with us for a few days until Randy meets up with us. We went to a local mall to pass the time before getting Zack. The course is at TPC Stonebrae. It is gorgeous! The view from the clubhouse overlooks SF Bay Area. We decided to visit Fisherman's Wharf/ Pier 39. We didn't seem to think it was important to check the weather so we all went in shorts and t-shirts. It was freezing! Luckily I brought Hadley a jacket and blanket. Joanne and I decided it would be smart to buy a sweatshirt in order to enjoy the evening. Of course Zack was perfectly warm in his shorts and t-shirt! We had dinner and then had a delicious strawberry and Nutella crepe! Traffic is a little crazy around here so getting anywhere quick is out of the question. Looking forward to seeing the course a little more tomorrow and seeing the Golden Gate Bridge on Friday! Have a great day!

Sequoia National Park

Sorry I'm a day behind posting but we have been in Sequoia National Park. We stayed in a beautiful lodge inside the park but didn't have any cell service. We took a 6:15 flight out of Kansas City with a wake-up call of 2:45. Needless to say we were exhausted! We hiked a few trails on Monday and called it a early night! We slept in and had breakfast at the lodge before finishing up our hikes inside the park. We left today around 2:00 and had a 3.5 hour drive to San Francisco. We met some of our friends from college for dinner! It was do great catching up with them and their two beautiful daughters! It has been a interesting day with my sweet Hadley. I noticed this morning when she was screaming after a fall that she had a molar tooth breaking through which would explain her mood swings and stomach issues! She has had a bad stomach all day long and with travel and hiking involved she managed to get a nasty rash!! She is pretty pitiful. I cannot seem to keep the rash clean due to her frequent BM's. I'm so hoping tomorrow is a better day because it makes me so sad to see her hurting this much!!! On a lighter note I am so excited to be in San Francisco!!! I hope you all have a fantastic evening!

The Victory!!!

Where do I even begin! Yesterday was a incredible day filled with many laughs, cheering, and happy tears. It was the day we have been dreaming about for so long and it was so much better than I could have imagined! I don't think it has even fully registered yet that he won! I had peace all day just like any other final round but was incredibly anxious for the day to end and to just know! I cannot even put into words how much it meant to have my entire family surrounding me! It brings tears to my eyes every time I think about my brother picking up and driving 10 hours with his family! They have so much faith in Zack and I love that they care! Walking to the 18th green was bittersweet for me! They had the green roped off. I patiently waited for zacks final putt to drop I grabbed Hadley and ran straight for Zack!!!! What a victory is was in so many ways. The Lord was so incredibly involved in every aspect of Zack's game. I am incredibly grateful for God allowing us to enjoy such a gift. I called our pastor at the church we attend after the round. He told us that he was so thankful God had favor on us today and to just bask in HIS glory along with this verse.1 Peter 3:15 psalm 103:1-2. We would not be where we are right now without God's grace, mercy love, and faithfulness!!! Thank you to everyone for all of your text, calls, and post. We love you all!!!

Grateful

Today has been a pretty awesome day. We started the day off with breakfast with the Sucher's and it was delicious! We didn't have to be at the course until late because Zack's tee time was at 1:50. We were just about ready to leave when we noticed a weather delay which moved out tee time to 2:40. Hadley seemed pretty fussy so I decided even though we had to leave within 45 minutes she needed a nap. We were able to load her in the car and keep her asleep! we ate lunch at the course and then I decided Hadley and I would do some shopping for atleast the first 9 holes. We were almost to our destination when I received a picture text from Lacy Orazine that clearly indicated they were at the course!!!!!!!! I was shocked!!! They indeed drove 10 some hours from Birmingham with the entire crew! Presley, Paisley, Tucker, and Regan! How blessed are we to have such an amazing family. Thankfully I was able to watch the back 9 holes while JoJo kept Hadley. So thankful for her!! Zack had a unbelievable round. He started out with a double bogey which you can imagine is hard to bounce back from and he managed to end the day with a 7 under 64! I am so incredibly proud of how he overcame that and to be honest the entire week. He has had 3 solid rounds of golf and I am so thankful. We ended the day with a three shot lead. As I always say, I have no idea how tomorrow with end. I am praying that the Lord's will is done tomorrow and that God gives Zack such peace on the course. I always say that I just want him to play solid leaving nothing behind. There are definitely family's out here that need a win as well. My prayer for every player and family is a good day of golf. My parents

texted me after the round saying they were flying out in the morning to be here with us tomorrow! I do know we are incredibly grateful for all of the support we have. Please take a minute and pray for Zack's day tomorrow. I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited so please pray for me to. Talk with you tomorrow!!

Magical Day

Today was a pretty magical day for me! I started off my morning with breakfast with Lisa for our bible study we decided to start in Boise. The study is called ABIDE from naptime diaries. Lisa chose the study and it is so simple yet so needful. The last two weeks we have met the Lord has truly moved in our lives. I leave feeling so refreshed and renewed. Before we got started with our study I noticed Lisa had brought in a rather large USPS package. She told me if was from the Orazine's (AKA my brother, sister-in-law and their daughters).  I opened and realized it was a care package for Hadley from the girls!! It literally brought be to tears as I looked through all of the cute and thoughtful things they had picked out I found the most precious letter from my oldest niece, Presley. It basically said that she was praying for all of us and prayed everyday that Zack would play well and to just remember what was most important and that was the Lord and Hadley. What a simple message with such a child-like faith. I am so incredibly thankful for my precious brother and his family! After breakfast I headed home to get Hadley and I ready for a day at the course. Zack didn't tee off until 2:00. There was a heat advisory today. It was so incredibly hot walking the course today so Joanne decided to take Hadley back home and let her swim instead of facing the heat. I was on the 7th hole and realized I had not drank near enough as I needed to, and decided to sit a few holes out. As I was walking away from 9 I ran into a sweet friend of mine(tour wife) as we talked she shared with me her discouragement for her husband and how he had a few holes remaining and that he was right on the cut line. I felt the need to pray for her right then, so I did and was very specific in my prayer. She texted me a few minutes later sharing that her husband had birdied and then chipped in for birdie on the final hole and made the cut!!!! The immediate gratification of knowing the Lord answered your prayer directly is incredible but even more than that I was honored that I had the privileged of praying for someone's needs. After resting for a few holes I waited on the 17th hole for Zack's group. He was playing wonderful today and finished the day at -8 and in the lead by two! Once again I am so thankful for God's grace and to have yet another chance to finish well. After dinner I received a text from another tour wife that was discouraged about missing the cut this week. She asked if I had any advice for them. I told her we knew exactly the discouragement she was feeling and to just continue to put God first and HE would bless that. I have watched them several times on the course and before her husband tees off they pray together. I can't tell you how encouraging that is to see. With that being said I feel so honored to be given the opportunity to encourage people that are surrounding me. This life we chose is not always easy and can be filled with disappointment but thankful for the Lord's faithfulness even during those times. It is in those difficult times that make the joy so much greater and the success that comes our way so bittersweet. Thank you Lord for giving me such joy!!!

Thursday's

Hello everyone I hope you all are having great day! Sorry for the late post! Today was the first round of the event this week in Kansas City at Lions Gate. Zack's tee time was at 8:40. His mom Joanne has not been able to watch him play golf in several weeks so she decided to watch the front nine and let me watch the back! He had another great day on the course, which we are so thankful for! We had to get up pretty early this morning so Hadley took a early nap at the course and was all ready to play with JoJo! After our round we took our daily trip to Target for a few items that we needed. We had dinner plans for 7:45 tonight so I knew Hadley would not make it through dinner without a nap. Luckily she was so tired by 3:00, when I put her in her bed she fell asleep immediately and slept for 2 hours!!! I definitely took advantage of her nap time and ran a few errands. We had a later dinner as I mentioned earlier at a local BBQ spot. On the drive home a received a call from a special friend of mine who is so precious to me. She is so uplifting to me and never goes a day without reminding me of the platform Zack and I have this year on the tour. My pastor has always said to surround yourself with people that speak life into you, and that is exactly what she does. There are so many others that call or text on a weekly basis to let us know they are praying for us. I woke up yesterday morning to a precious text from a friend in our SS class and it literally brought me to tears. My immediate family ask me on a weekly basis how they can pray for us each week. I could go on and on mentioning things. What I have learned over these last few months is that it is so important to surround yourself with all kinds of positive and uplifting

people. Zack and I could not do this without the love and support from our family and friends. But the main focus of all of this is the Lord! I keep going back to what I mentioned last week about what a honor it is to serve HIM. Right now isn't the time to go into detail but HE is the only reason we are living the blessed life that we are. I specifically along with others prayed for this year and I could not have imagined a better life. Thank you Lord for allowing me the honor to worship you daily and feel you near. All I have to do is speak your name! I hope you all have a wonderful evening!!

Bumpa and JoJo

Today was a great day! I was able to attend my first Tour Wives event of the year. I really enjoyed spending time with some of the wives and making cards for a camp for children with cancer. There were so many wives that I was able to meet for the first time. I am looking forward to many more events! After our event Zack and I took Hadley swimming, which she loves! It's always a good choice to get some of her energy out. After that we waited patiently for Bumpa and JoJo to arrive!! Hadley was so excited to see them. It has been almost 6 weeks since they have seen her!( these are zacks parents by the way) they of course were just as excited!!! We had another delicious meal with our host family this evening. I was worried after Hadley not having her pack n play for the last few nights that she wouldn't sleep well. Joanne and Randy "JoJo and Bumpa" had Hadley's pack n play with them so she spent 3 nights with us in our bed. Thankfully she went right down and hopefully will sleep all night! Hope you all have a wonderful night!

Kansas City

Today was our first day in Kansas City and it is HOT! Hadley slept in until almost 11:00 after going to bed after midnight last night. We headed to the course around lunch to meet up with Zack. He is playing at Lions Gate. We typically let Hadley roam around outside during the practice rounds but it was just too warm. After lunch we headed in to town to run some errands. I absolutely love Kansas City so far! There are lots of new shopping areas and incredible places to eat! As I mentioned last night we are staying with Zack dad's friends from college. They fixed us a delicious meal tonight. We watched Zack on the Golf Channel which was pretty exciting! I'm a bit partial but I think he makes it very interesting. Not much going on today. Hope you guys have a fantastic evening!

Traveling days

Traveling days are always interesting for us. Our flight left from Salt Lake City at 2:15. We of course get to the airport in plenty of time to allow for unexpected craziness. We dropped the rental car off around 11:30 and carried our running total of 6 bags through the rental car place and straight to check them. We had lunch to kill an hour or so before our flight left. We try and let Hadley run crazy until the planes leaves. Luckily it was time for her nap! She slept the entire flight. We then headed to get our rental car for the week. Keep in mind we have all of our luggage, then take a shuttle to Avis. After we get our rental then you have to strategically place everything in the car just right so it all fits, oh and install the carseat. We have a host family this week that is really close to the course which is extremely helpful. Zacks parents will be driving in Wednesday and will be with us for two weeks which is fantastic and means a break for me!!!  So now we are settling in for bed and hopefully Hadley will sleep well because we are exhausted! Night peeps!
