Palm Springs for the Humana

Hello again! I hope you all have had a good week! We arrived in Palm Springs on Tuesday that lead to a phone call saying we were 3rd alternate this week! Of course we were anxious for the number to change but we stayed at 2nd until the morning of the event and then changed to 1st. We didn't get in but we have had a lot of positive outcomes to the week! We were invited to Arnold Palmer's steak house for a rookie dinner. We so enjoyed seeing our friends and talking about exciting things to come! Arnold Palmer came in and said a few words to the rookies which was so nice. We are so thankful to be apart of the great game of golf! Since zack didn't get in the event he was asked as a alternate to stick around incase a pro withdrew after the round began, in which case Zack would take the Pro's spot but the score wouldn't count. Zack got the call Friday morning so he ended up playing Friday  and Saturday! We were thankful for the experience and the practice! We have had little small things happen this week reminding us that God is faithful and always has our best interest at heart! I'm so thankful for the peace God gives you to just rest in HIM! I was reminded by a friend this week to keep our eyes on Jesus like Peter in the storm! Good things are coming! Today we pack up and head to Pheonix to try and Monday qualify for the Waste Managament. Thankfully we are driving the next several events!! Looking forward to next week! Have a blessed Sunday!!

Hawaii for the Sony

I What looked like a exciting week to anticipate our first PGA event of 2015 turned out to be much different than expected. Although it may have caught us off guard, God had other things in store for the 12 days in Hawaii as a family! We were able to stay at the most beautiful resort in Ko'Olina and enjoy delicious dinners, amazing hikes, and wonderful company! We came a week early to enjoy a week before the chaos of golf started for the following week. We thought we would be seeing Zack's number for getting in the event get better we watched it move worse and worse each day until we realized there was no hope of us getting in the event. Zack thought his best chance of getting in the Sony at this point was doing the Monday Qualifier at Turtle Bay. Unfortunately he failed to make the 4 spots given but left feeling great about his game. As we left Ko'Olina to move locations in Wakiki I began to feel discouraged about the week and feeling somewhat out of place. We began to see friends that were in the event and feel embarrassed we were here. Then it became apparent to me that we are here for a reason God allows this to be the situation we were in and we belong here! A peace began to flood over me and a confidence knowing that God is always in control of the situation and the circumstances that surround us that we may feel we have no control over.  I found joy in encourging wives who's husbands were in the event b/c they do the same by encouraging me! I am so thankful for the relationships I have already built and the close friends/family back home that are always there for me! We are still out of the event next week by about 7 spots but are hoping that changes but if not I am going into
the week with a completely different outlook! Hawaii has been wonderful and I am so thankful for the time I was able to spend with my family!

Cancun

Hope all of you are having a great day! Zack and I had s wonderful week in Mayakoba. We stayed at the Banyan Tree. I have never experienced such beauty at a resort. We had a wonderful time together and enjoyed every minute! Unfortunately we did miss the cut again but we made our time left at the resort worth it! We definitely would have chose to end the year with a made cut but God had other plans in store. What a wonderful year it has been! We are so thankful for all of the opportunities we have been given. We know 2015 on the PGA Tour will bring wonderful things! Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year! We love you all!

We part our separate ways today. Zack leaves heading to Japan to play in the Dunlop Pheonix. Please keep him in your prayers while he travels and plays. I am heading back tomorrow morning to Mobile to get Hadley! I have missed my sweet girl and cannot wait to see her! Thankful for wonderful in-laws for keeping her!

Jackson for Sanderson Farms

Hello! I hope all of you are doing well. We spent the week in Jackson MS. It was a nice and easy drive from Birmingham to Mississippi. It was a little over 3 hours which is a very short drive for us! It is always a long week leading up to the tournemnt and anticipation of how golf is going to go. Zack has been working extremely hard on his game. Each week he becomes more and more comfortable with his game and this week was a week we felt his game would lead him in the right direction. We had great first round and was in a good position for round two. Unfortunately his game let him down in a few areas and we failed to make the cut for the 4th week in a row. I saw all of this to say that most people might find that discouraging and we wouldn't be human if we didn't say we were. The truth is we feel confident in the fact that we know we are doing everything we know to do each week and that the Lord is the one who ultimately controls each outcome. HE could have very easily allowed Zack to birdie the final hole to make it on the number but HE didn't. For whatever reason HE has we know it is to glorify HIM. I say it a lot and I will say it again. We are so blessed that the Lord allowed us to be on this Journey this year. Thank you to everyone who always sends encouraging text we love you all. Next week we are off to Cancun for the Mayakoba Classic. Hadley is staying with her "JoJo". Zack and I are looking forward to it!!

Sea Island

Hello everyone I hope you all have had a fantastic week! We spent our week in Sea Island enjoying beautiful weather with family and friends! It is my favorite place we have visited this year! It's close to the water but still has a small town feel! We rented a house by the water and Hadley loved every minute of it! We started off our week with a Charity event and Zack and I had an amazing time meeting new players and player wives! I was so taken back by the generosity of Kim Johnson (Zach Johnson's wife) welcomed me to the wives and made me feel very comfortable all week. It's hard trying to get to know everyone but if makes it a lot easier when people are so kind! We loved the Darius Rucker concert and Davis Love III house. We are warming up to the tour and blending in and that makes things a lot more laid back. Zack missed the cut again last week. He played some great golf but unfortunately it just didn't go his way.  Thankfully our identity is not in golf or how quickly and how much we succeed but in Christ. Sometimes that doesn't make the road any easier but it does give you peace, patience a sense of calmness.  We still have so exciting things coming up! Sunday we head to Jackson MS. It's not that far away feel free to come support Zack!

Shriner's in Vegas

Last week we spent our week in Summerlin about 20 minutes from Vegas!  We arrived on Sunday night after leaving Napa. Hadley did amazing in the car like always and the drive wasn't so bad.we didn't really do much in Vegas. We did go see the fountains at the Bellagio because I knew Hadley would love it and she did. Zack had a great first round but failed to make the cut again. It is adjustment for sure and getting comfortable out here. I'm not worried Zack will do well it's just a matter of time. The Lord knows what is best and it's in his hands! We are really just trying to enjoy the year and enjoy what is in front of us! We are looking forward to our week in Sea Island!

Back at it!

Sorry I have been a little delayed with blogging. It has been crazy trying to gt back in the swing of things and travel! Last week was our first PGA event in Napa! It was absolutely beautiful and by far my favorite visit anywhere in long time!  The weather was delightful and the food was amazing! Hadley started childcare for the first time last week and she did amazing well! I am so thankful for the PGA tour providing such a wonderful school for our children and loving on them! I was able to meet a few of the wives at our wine tour of Napa. I was so taken back by how sweet and welcoming  all of the wives were. Although we failed to make the cut we still had a wonderful time and Enjoyed exploring Napa before leaving. Since we had such a horrible flight experience heading to Napa we decided to drive to Vegas. It was only a 8 hour drive and Hadley does much better in the car. We arrived in Vegas yesterday. We are staying about 15 minutes from the strip but still enjoying our stay so far. Hadkey is starting to enter into the 2's which is making life very interesting. I will spare you the details seeing tat lost of you now exactly whatnot talking about. Just as you think you have it all figured out as a parent something else takes you by suprise and tour back to day 1. Looking forward to finish the week out here in Vegas and watching a little PHA tour golf with my favorite PGA tour player at TPC Summerlin! If you haven't downloaded the PGA tour app please do and follow Zack Sucher! We need all of your support and prayers just like last year! Love you all speak to you
